Panther players are gearing up for another fall sports season preparing to bring their best game to the fields. Head Football Coach David Kirby shared about the upcoming season, stating, “I expect the boys to play to the best of their abilities and compete every game. We will try our best to be the best team we can be.” The Lady Panthers Head Softball Coach explained fans can expect great things as the team swings into action, stating, “I am so excited for this season. We have such a versatile team where I can play so many people in different positions. The first week of practice had such a great atmosphere and we got so much done. I really think we have a chance to do very well this season.”

MCHS Football team will host the twentieth annual Football Jamboree at Lankford Field on August 23 at 6 p.m. Teams participating in the jamboree will be Scotland Co., Schuyler Co., Van Far and Monroe City.

The Lady Panther Softball team will be traveling to Highland to participate in the Softball Jamboree on August 26 at 4:30 p.m. with Marion Co. and Bowling Green teams.
