The Monroe City Lady Panthers finished up their regular season at home on October 2 with a 15-3 record. The Lady Panthers finished as the Clarence Cannon Conference champions, sharing the title with Highland. The Lady Panthers had not brought home the CCC Championship since 2000. Monroe City obtained a victory win at home, against the Macon Lady Tigers for their last regular season game with a score of 7-2.
Head Coach Melissa Chinn stated, “I am so excited for the girls on winning conference. They have really worked hard this season and I’m glad they accomplished this.”
