The Monroe City High School will celebrate their football homecoming on September 21. Homecoming week at the school began Monday with the traditional theme week. High school students were seen showing their school spirit as they participated in the festivities.
There will be a Homecoming Parade on Friday at 2 p.m. with the theme Music. Each class is represented by a different genre and will be decorating their floats to match. The senior class has Country Music, the junior class will decorate with Rock Music, the sophomore class will put their artistic abilities together with Blues/Jazz and the freshman class will be representing Hip Hop. The football game will begin at 7 p.m. with the Panthers hosting the West Hancock Titans.
