Sandra F. Shaver, 85 of Monroe City, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021 at the Monroe City Manor, Monroe City.
Sandy was born August 21, 1936 in Shelbina, the daughter of Russell L. and Nellie Bryan Peters.
As a young lady Sandy worked for Henderson Produce Company, then the Sweet Shop Cafe before working for Diemakers Tool and Die company for many years. She loved spending time with her family who she loved very much.
She married Kenneth Eugene Shaver September of 1958 he preceded her in death May of 1966.
Survivors include one son Kenneth “Buz” Shaver (Ruth Ann) of Monroe City, one daughter Connie Painter (David) of Monroe City and a very special niece Debbie Buckman (Steve), Monroe City. Five grandchildren Brian Painter (Tianna), Kenna Painter, Bronson Shaver (girlfriend Tenneil Dittmer), Carson Buckman (Karen) and Stevie Buckman. Six great grandchildren MacKenzie, MacKayla, Hollis, Zoeie, Harmonie and Sophia. She is also survived by one sister June Porter of Monroe City, numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers Dallas, Don and Keith Peters, four sisters Wanda Moutray, Beatrice Weeden, Winnifred O’Daniel and Norma Hagar.
There is a private family funeral planed with private family graveside services at the St. Jude Cemetery, Monroe City. Memorials have been suggested to the Monroe County Cancer Supporters.
