Pearl Christopher Little, age 90, of Shelbina, passed away Friday, November 22, 2019, at Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal.
Pearl was born January 02, 1929 in Monroe County, the son of Leo Lambert and Lois Elizabeth Little. He was united in marriage to Patricia Myers Little on May 24, 1952. She preceded him in death on September 3, 1991. He later married Sarah Colene Meranda who died October 6, 2007.
Pearl worked for Russ Abbett as an Electrician, Maintenance at Cold Storage, Borrons, City of Shelbina, and retired from Central Stone. He was a member of the St. Mary’s Church of Shelbina and later the Shelbina Methodist Church. He enjoyed dances at the legion hall, woodworking, and he always had a positive outlook on life and would help anyone in need. Most of all, he loved spending time with his friends and family especially his grandkids.
He is survived by his children, Cindy Kinney (Tom) of Shelbina, Tina Mallet of Marceline, and Alan Little (Marie) of Shelbina, one son-in-law; Damon Hercules, ten grandchildren; Chris Kinney (Melanie), James Paul Kelley (Kellie), Natasha Raleigh (Jason), Patricia Staples (Aaron), Shannon Lloyd (Jamie), Thomas Little, Sarah Biegel, Stacy Biegel, Abby Hercules, and Phillip Hercules, numerous great grandchildren and three sisters, Theresa Teague of Vandalia, Ann Kunce and Sue Roberts of Shelbina.
He was preceded in death by his parents; both wives; and daughter, Cathleen “Cat” Hercules; one grandchild, Stephanie Biegel, ten brothers, and seven sisters.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 5, 2019, at 11 am at the Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Shelbina, Missouri. Visitation will precede the service starting at 9 to 11 am. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, in Shelbina. Memorials may be made to Neighbors Helping Neighbors.
