Linda Jane Watson, 73, of Paris, passed away peacefully at the Monroe Manor in Paris. She is survived by her husband, John David, and her children, Tony (Lisa) Archer of Mexico, Terry (Kim) Archer of Mexico, Tommy (Kristin) Archer of Lenexa, Kansas, Robbie (Ninette) Watson of Monroe City, Bradley (Christine) Watson of Monroe City, and Lisa (Todd) Garrett of Monroe City. Linda is also survived by one brother, Tony (Linda) Bloss of Brookfield, and one sister-in-law, Barb Bloss of Chillicothe. She also is survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Linda was born July 2, 1946, to Nyle and Dorothy (Neal) Bloss in Brookfield. She married John David Watson on July 2, 1983. Linda worked as a nurse’s aide for many years. Later in life, she helped David on the farm and was a homemaker. She enjoyed fishing, going to yard sales and flea markets, and she attended the Old Threshers annually. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Don Bloss and Mike Bloss, one sister, Lydia Belle Moore, and a grandson, Jacob Dene Watson. Services are being scheduled at a later date.
