Harold Pruitt Jr., 50, of Columbia, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at his home on Thursday, December 5.
Harold was born on July 23, 1969 in Hannibal, he was one of four children to the late Harold William Pruitt Sr. and Brenda Louise White Pruitt.
Harold and his siblings were raised by their Uncle Howard (Ann) Pruitt. Harold worked at Fuddruckers until his illness. He accepted Christ earlier this year, during the beginning stages of his illness.

He also loved the support he got from his Monroe City family (The White family). He enjoyed muscle cars and classic cars and his gold fish Mimi, which was more like his best friend.
Those remaining to cherish his memory include daughter Jada Simmons of Columbia, brothers, Curtis Holiday of Moberly, and Darold Pruitt Sr. of Columbia; sisters, Cynthia Pruitt Brown of Columbia, Cindy Pruitt of Columbia, Grea Gray, of Columbia, his best friend Mimi, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Along with his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Services will be held on Saturday, December 14, at St. Paul AME Church in Columbia. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the church.
