Damon Ray Black

Damon Ray Black passed away on March 21.

Damon was the son of David Ray Black of Vandalia and Vichie Cheryl Bicshel Black, born on October 9, 1965 as an only child.

Damon was proceeded in death by his mother Vickie Bischel Black Profit, of AK and grandparents Gladys Bichsel of Shelbina, and Dorothy and Francis Black from Verndale, MN., formally of Hunnewell.

Gone but not forgotten, his memory lives on in deeds many knew not! What a very special person you were. Not only was Damon giving of himself to many in silence, helping anyone in need with labor, monetary assistance, emotional and health needs. Always giving of himself and forgiving transgressions.

Thanks, was never necessary for him, but if thanks were given, his simple reply was “pass it on”. Damon was so very much loved and will be missed. He will live in our hearts for eternity.

Our world lost an amazing person that day!

A memorial remembrance date to be announced.
