The Prairie Queen Ag, LLC has announced a new partnership with La Crosse products. The business now offers Forage Crops, Cover Crops and Food Plot seed, along with Sorghum Sudangrass for customers. Owner, Shelby Davis explained, “We will also offer Rye this fall,” as she added the joy of her business serving the local farming community, stating, “I love my job and the opportunities it brings to meet the needs of our agricultural community.”
In September of 2018, Davis opened Prairie Queen Ag, LLC as the new Independent Sales Representative with Pioneer for the area. Davis grew up in Monroe City and has always been around farming, her father had a few cattle and some row crop, but her involvement in FFA as Chapter President and Area V First VP, really set her on the track to an ag related career.
After graduating in 2010, Davis went on to Mizzou where she was very active on campus. Davis served on the Ag Week Steering Committee for two years and was the President of Sigma Alpha agriculture sorority. She had internships with Missouri Soybean Association and Syngenta. Davis graduated from Mizzou in 2014, working briefly for Syngenta in Kansas, but found her home previously at MFA as an agronomy sales representative for the Lancaster, Kirksville & LaPlata locations.
Davis has now been home, serving her community and meeting the agricultural needs of her customers, she shared, “I couldn’t be happier with my business.”
