Kris Luoma

On August 23, Kris Luoma, New London, was arrested for Operating a Motor Vehicle Without a Valid Operator’s License, Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute, and Possession of Marijuana < 10 Grams, and Unlawful Use of Drug Paraphernalia. Luoma was transported to Monroe County Jail pending charges. An Officer investigated Suspicious Activity on Lawn Street.

Officers investigated reports of a Facebook Post regarding a possible Stabbing at the Bel-Air Motel. Officers searched the area and spoke with multiple individuals and the hotel manager with no findings of a disturbance.

On August 24, an Officer investigated an Active Alarm on Industrial Drive with no findings. An Officer assisted with a Medical Call at Hardee’s Restaurant until EMS could arrive. Officers investigated reports of a Facebook Post regarding a possible Stabbing at the Bel-Air Motel. Officers searched the area and spoke with multiple individuals and the hotel manager with no findings of a disturbance. Officers investigated reports of Suspicious Activity near Promiseland Church with no findings. An Officer assisted with a Lock Out at the BP Gas Station.

On August 25, an Officer assisted with a Motor Vehicle Accident on South Border Street. Patient was transported to Hannibal Regional Hospital.

On August 26, an Officer investigated reports of Vandalism on Court Street regarding a resident’s mailbox. An Officer assisted with a Lock Out at Holy Rosary School. An Officer assisted with a Lock Out at the Monroe City High School parking lot. Kevin Barringhaus, Glascow, was cited for Speeding. An Officer investigated reports of Suspicious Activity on Boulder Avenue with no findings.

Shannon Bleything

On August 27, Shannon Bleything, Monroe City, was arrested for Operating a Motor Vehicle without a Valid Operator’s License, Unlawful Use of Drug Paraphernlia, Possession of Marijuana < 10 Grams, and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Bleything was transported to Monroe County Jail pending charges. An Officer investigated Nuisance Complaints on Park Street. Officer made contact with the property owner without further incident. An Officer assisted with a Medical Call on Second Street until EMS could arrive.

On August 29, an Officer assisted with a Non-Injury Motor Vehicle Accident at the Highway 36 exit ramp. An Officer assisted with a Lock Out on South Elm Street.

All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty by a court of law.

On August 30, an Officer investigated a Noise Complaint near Sunset Drive. Individual was contacted without further incident. An Officer assisted with a Medical Call on Second Street. Patient was transported to Hannibal Regional Hospital and animal was temporarily transferred to the Monroe City Animal Shelter. An Officer assisted with reports of three young dogs possibly being dropped off near County Line Road. Animals were transported to the Monroe City Animal Shelter without further incident. An Officer assisted with a Lock Out at the Monroe City Nutrition Center. An Officer met with an individual at the Monroe City Animal Shelter to release an Animal. Officers investigated a 911 Hang-Up Call coming from Macon-Atlanta State Bank. Contact was made with the individual who had made the call by accident.

On August 31, an Officer investigated a 911 Hang-Up Call coming from West Summer Street. Officer made contact with an individual who stated that the call was made on accident. An Officer investigated reports of Suspicious Activity near Third Street with no findings. An Officer investigated reports of an Active Alarm at Orscheln Farm and Home with no findings. An Officer investigated reports of a Suspicious Vehicle at the Hardee’s Parking Lot. Officers investigated an Active Alarm at Orscheln Farm and Home with no findings. Christina Axton, Fenton, was cited for Speeding. An Officer assisted with a Check the Well-Being Request for a resident near Widow Lane. Contact was made without incident. An Officer assisted Missouri State Highway Patrol with a Traffic Stop on Highway 36.

On September 1, Phyllis Gump, Moberly, was cited for Speeding. Darren Brinkman, Centralia, was cited for Speeding. An Officer assisted with a minor Motor Vehicle Accident in the Hardee’s Parking Lot. An Officer began investigations on Property Damage to the St. Jude’s Park Gazebo. Investigation ongoing. Officers assisted with a Drive-Off at Abel’s Quick Stop. Charles Wildenhain, Macon, was cited for Speeding. An Officer investigated a Peace Disturbance Complaint near Boulder Avenue. Individuals were contacted without further incident.

On September 2, an Officer investigated Suspicious Activity near Monroe City Middle School. Individuals were contacted without incident. An Officer investigated an Active Alarm at Orscheln Farm and Home with no findings. An Officer began investigations on reports of Stealing from CW’s Car Wash. Investigation ongoing. An Officer investigated a 911 Hang-Up Call from North Main Street. Contact was made with an individual who stated that a child had made the call on accident. An Officer investigated reports of Animal Cruelty regarding a dog being shot with a pellet gun or air rifle near Boulder Avenue. Investigation ongoing.

On September 3, an Officer assisted with reports of Stealing from Buckman’s Gas Station. Investigation ongoing. Officers investigated reports of a Domestic Assault occurring near Garden Lane. Both individuals involved were contacted and given a 12-Hour Domestic Rule.

On September 4, an Officer investigated an Alarm at JC Salvage Yard. Contact was made with an employee who stated that the alarm had been set off by accident.

On September 5, an Officer investigated an Active Alarm at Orscheln Farm and Home with no findings. An Officer assisted with a Medical Call on South Oak Street until EMS could arrive.  An Officer assisted with a Motor Vehicle Accident in the Car Quest Parking Lot. Austin Reynolds, Monroe City, was arrested on two Monroe County Warrants and released on bond. Officers began investigations on a complaint from near Holy Rosary Church and Holy Rosary School in reference to a Well-Being Check. An Officer assisted with a Motor Vehicle Accident near Court Street. An Officer investigated Suspicious Activity at Wilson Laundromat. An Officer assisted with a Motor Vehicle Accident at Abel’s Quick Stop.
