The Monroe City Community Task Force will host their annual Easter Egg Hunt for children ages birth – sixth grade on April 3 at 1 p.m. The event will take place at Lankford Field.

There will be five different age divisions for the hunt including: 0-2 years old, PreK-Kindergarten, First-Second Grade, Third-Fourth Grade and Fifth-Sixth Grade. The field will be packed with Easter prizes ready to fill the children’s baskets. Several local community volunteers will be present to help make the hunt a great success. Local businesses and private residents have donated the prizes to make the annual event possible. There will be thousands of candy and toy filled eggs for the children to find. The day will also feature a guest appearance from the Easter Bunny.
