A soon to be third grader at Holy Rosary, Mason Hays, attended a youth football skills camp featuring Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill. The camp was a one day event hosted in Cedar Rapids, IA. The limited space camp focused on speed and agility. Hill is widely touted as the fastest man in the NFL. The “Cheetah” as Hill calls himself, consistently wows fans with his speed and incredible catches utilizing his impressive vertical.
Prior to camp, Hays had the opportunity to have a small session meet and greet with the Chiefs #10 to ask one on one questions, get advice and receive autographs. Hays took a custom picture that he had designed for Hill to autograph. During the camp, Hays took direction from not only experienced football coaches, but also “Cheetah” himself. Hill was there to give guidance and focus to the young campers, keeping their passion for football alive.
“It was exhilarating and I will never forget meeting Cheetah!” Hays says.
