The Monroe City Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Everything Under the Sun on September 21, celebrating the newly opened consignment shop. Owner, Britinee Hinch, along with her three children attended the ceremony cutting the ribbon together as chamber members stood in support of the new business in the downtown area.

Hinch spent the weekend remodeling the store, adding a new floor and painting the entry way, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The consignment shop is located at 104 North Main Street. Hinch stated. “I’ve always dreamed of being a business owner.” Hinch first started doing consignment online in October of 2019, with the vision of opening a store. Hinch saw the space was available and she followed her dream.

The store offers sales, both in-store and on-line to customers. Hinch also offers several booths for rent with a wide variety of items including clothing, household decor, antiques and everything in between. The front of the store offers clothing in all sizes on a large rack Hinch constructed herself. The rack is beautifully stained, adding a nice greeting as customers enter the store. The entrance also offers several signs and artwork on the walls, giving the store a cheerful atmosphere while browsing.
