Weekly Challenge: Choose to be positive in all situations. Even in the darkest of times we can be a light to others.
The world is filled with one tragic event after another. Every day there is something or someone speaking of a negative circumstance. The enemy schemes to get our focus on the negatives instead of finding positive. People find ways to tear down ideas or reasons things should be or shouldn’t be.
There is pain and hurt all over the world. Circumstances of offense and unfair. These are trials. We all have them no matter who we are, what we look like or what tax bracket we fall under. No one person is without trials. How each of endure those trials is the way to victory. Our action, reaction and responses are what paves the way for future generations. What we stand for and believe in will shape the views of believers in years to come.
The truth, the way and the light is Jesus. Republican or Democrat, death will be faced by each and every person. The only thing we can take with us to eternity is people. Be one of those who are leading people to HEAVEN. Not standing for the ways of Christ, sitting by idle and quiet, watching others walk down the road of sin and not telling them where they are headed is wrong also. Do your part, stand for Jesus, if they don’t receive it then you have done your part. At least you tried, you planted a seed and continue to believe it will grow in their lives. In this dark, cold world be the light!!
We are all given the choice to be a light every day in so many ways. It is up to us to speak positive, tell of the truth and remain planted, moving forward in the Word and not the World.
You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men.
“For so the Lord has commanded us, ‘I HAVE PLACED YOU AS A LIGHT FOR THE GENTILES (unbelievers), THAT YOU MAY BRING SALVATION TO THE END OF THE EARTH.’”
