Weekly Challenge: Be the very best you.
Doing our best takes effort. It can become easy to slack off in areas of our life that is important for overall health. We become lenient in our prayer life, bible reading and personal time with God. When we do this, then other areas of our life begin to become weak as well.
The bible warns us about walking through our daily life asleep. In fact, the Word tells us to stay alert, ready and sober. We cannot be all God created us to be by slacking. When we slack in our family life, household, jobs, parenting, marriage and relationships is causes a decrease in intensity, quantity and slows our growth.
To be the very best you, we must stay prayed up, spend time alone with God, read the Word, be willing to be corrected. If we become lazy in our walk, we will become inactive as a witness. Slacking shows to those around you, weakness gives the enemy ground to work on. The enemy is always looking for the weakest link into your life. The bible explains the enemy prowls around like a lion, waiting for you to be asleep. Don’t get robbed because you failed to be obedient.
Keep your eyes on Jesus, fixed on the truth and walking in the solid foundation of the gospel.
