Rainbow

A rainbow was displayed over the town on September 29 reminds us of God's promises.

Weekly Challenge: Be diligent in taking care of what you have. Example: house, children, spouse, self, relationship with Jesus, vehicle and finances.

Sometimes we have not received an increase because we fail to take care of the blessings we already have. We operate with the thoughts of telling ourselves when I have this or as soon as this happens, I will be happy.

The truth is, you won’t be. We need to have joy with having little before we could ever truly give God the Glory he deserves when we have much. By missing  where the true joy comes from, a person will always be seeking something more. Only true happiness happens when we fall in love with Jesus.

Those who have all their needs met often fail to give God honor where honor is due. Someone who started from the bottom, had to work and learned to appreciate  every step of increase along the way.

Choosing to be happy with little is simply a choice, it is in fact a reality of understanding true joy does not come from the worldly treasures around you , but comes from Jesus.

True joy is found within, whether you live in a great big fancy house or a small one bedroom house. Whether you drive a brand new car or an older model. Joy will not be found in the heart of things, only in the heart of Jesus. Its okay to have nice things and to want to increase, but its not okay if God is left out of the climb.

Luke 16:10 If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities.
