Weekly Challenge:

Be encouraged with a positive outlook.

It is physically possible to choose to be happy. Circumstances, hardships, trials and problems happen to great people every day in all different types of ways. All of which are listed in the bible.

The Bible clearly reveals the works of the flesh in Galatians as sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness and things like these. We live in a lost world of people who need Jesus Christ to fill them up and heal their unfruitful choices. Knowing this explains all the different problems, tragedies and trials we encounter. We walk among those who are hurt, hurting others and have hardened hearts.

Several read the fruit of the flesh, then make excuses that their fruit does not match the warning, with the “What I’m doing is not that bad.” Agreeing to sin a little is equal to sinning, there is no big or little sin. Sin is sin, good people who lead good lives live denying Christ every day through sin. The Bible states not one is good. We were all born sinners and we all must be born again to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

The Bible also clearly states the fruit of the spirit, which is the fruit we should be producing to change the lost world around and shed light in the darkness. We are told we will know a tree by its fruit. Same as you will know a person by their fruit. An oak tree can’t be an apple tree.

What fruit are you bearing? Is it fruit of the flesh or fruit of the spirit?

If you know who you are in Christ and are moved by the fruits of the spirit, you are able to have a positive outlook, be encouraged and work towards the destiny God has called all of us to………To Spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ!!

Matthew 24:44 Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect. (Tragically, for many, it will be too late. This to me is the ultimate hardship. As for you, if you’ve never trusted in Christ, the only thing that awaits you is the wrath God, so I plead with you today, make today your day of salvation.)

2 Peter 1:10 Therefore, brothers, be all the more diligent to confirm your calling and election, for if you practice these qualities you will never fall.

Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
