Monroe City Manor Care Center are taking donations for items needed for the residents, as well as asking the youth to color the coloring page found in this weeks edition of The Lake Gazette. The pages will be used to brighten up the halls. All items and donations may be left in the foyer on the bench.

The Monroe City Manor Care Center is taking donations for their residents. The manor, which has been following COVID-19 Pandemic guidelines since first enforced could use the community’s help providing activities and comfort for those living there.

Along with the donations, children are asked to color the coloring page, located inside today’s addition of The Lake Gazette for the residents to enjoy. Each picture will be hung at the manor for those living there to view.

Suggested items to donate are: puzzles, word search books, activity books, checkers, chess, dominos, blanket and socks.

Monroe City Manor Administrator Alex Edris would like to remind everyone while making donations they will not be allowed inside the building. The facility has not had visitors since the pandemic began. Edris stated, “Donations can be dropped off in the front foyer on the bench.”

The COVID-19 Pandemic guidelines include not allowing vendors in the facility to fill soda and snack vending machines, along with family members unable to visit with their loved ones in person.
