Registration is open for no-cost skin cancer screening on May 1 Board-certified dermatologist, Susan Meidl, MD, FAAD, Blessing Health Hannibal, will conduct a no-cost American Academy of Dermatology Spot Skin Cancer Screening on Thursday, May 1, by appointment only. The skin cancer check program is the American Academy of Dermatology’s longest-standing public health program.

Community Pinwheel Display at Hannibal Riverfront to Raise Awareness of Child Abuse Prevention Month Nearly 60 community members gathered at the Hannibal Riverfront on Monday, April 7, for the Community Pinwheel Ceremony hosted by United Way of the Mark Twain Area in recognition of Child Abuse Prevention Month. The event highlighted local programs that work to prevent child abuse, respond to cases of abuse, and support children who have been victims of abuse or neglect.
