Special Guest Artist Riley James Williams began her dance training at the age of eight at Fabulous Feet, under the direction of current owner and instructor Rhonda McHargue. Williams was a member of her high school varsity dance team and the All-American National Dance Alliance dance team. Riley continued her dance education at Southeast Missouri State, majoring in Dance with a minor in Nutrition.
While at Southeast, Williams performed numerous works by both faculty and guest artists including Larry Keigwin’s Caffeinated, Grasp by Jennifer Archibald and an original contemporary work by Geoff Alexandar of Big Muddy Dance Company. Riley also performed at the American College Dance Association Conference. After graduating in May 2016, Riley moved to St Louis to further her dance career. She danced professionally for Ashleyliane Dance Company and has performed in St Louis, New York, and Chicago.
Williams has been teaching dance at various studios since graduating college.
McHargue shared her excitement in welcoming back her former student to assist at camp, stating, “I couldn’t be happier to have one of our very own back as Guest Artist. I am so proud of her accomplishments and know she will have much to give our students. She is, not only a great dancer and teacher, but a beautiful young woman who loves the Lord with all her heart. I encourage all to come and enjoy learning from her. I also look forward to beginning another great year at Fabulous Feet Dance Company.”
