Annual Trunk or Treat Event to be held at Monroe City Lions Club

The annual Halloween Trunk or Treat event will be held on Sunday, Oct. 26, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Lions Club grounds, located at 802 2nd St. in Monroe City.
Join the community for a fun-filled evening as the community comes together to celebrate Halloween in a safe and festive environment. The event will feature decorated vehicles, candy, costumes, a bounce house and plenty of Halloween spirit for children and families to enjoy.
A costume contest will begin at 5 p.m., open to children and adults, with prizes awarded for standout attire. The organizers are aiming for at least 15 trunk participants this year, and awards will be given to the top two most creative trunks.
The Lions Club encourages individuals, families and organizations to join the fun by decorating a trunk and handing out candy. To participate or learn more, contact Devin Jarman at 573-501-1293 or Debra Hees at 573-719-8433.
The annual Trunk or Treat has become a beloved fall tradition in Monroe City, offering a spirited and family-friendly way to celebrate the season. See you there!
