JESSIE FREDRICK (FRED) LILLY
Jessie Fredrick (Fred) Lilly 78 of Monroe City, Missouri passed away Saturday, October 04,2025 at his home.
He was born December 07,1946 in Monroe City, Missouri the son of Clarence Hamlin (Red) and Viola (Cruser) Lilly.
Fred was a 1965 graduate of Monroe City High School, Monroe City, Missouri. He was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Monroe City, Missouri. As a young man Fred mowed 32 yards every week. He also worked for Hy-Klas Grocery Store, Monroe City. Fred then worked at Kuhlman Diecasting for 38 years. Fred enjoyed camping, fishing, going to auctions and garage sales. He enjoyed walking around town collecting various items. He loved his family very much and will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
He married Mary Cecelia Miles on February 24,1968, she survives him of the home.
Also surviving are one daughter Michelle Berry (Dale) of Monroe City, two sons Marcus Lilly of Hannibal, Eric Lilly (Dawn) of Monroe City. Eight grandchildren Matthew Berry (Haley), Emma Berry, Haven Lilly (Kyle), Hunter Lilly (Ashland), Wyatt Lilly, Danielle Dixon, Colton Dixon and Colin Frankenbach. Also survived by six great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Ruth Ann Brooks, brother in law Johnny Brooks, brother in laws Joe Miles, David Miles and Tommy Miles.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Friday, October 10,2025 at the Garner Funeral Chapel, Monroe City, Missouri, Fr. Mike Quinn will officiate. Burial will follow at the St. Stephens Cemetery, Indian Creek, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 8:00 pm Thursday evening at the Garner Funeral Home & Chapel, Monroe City, Missouri. Active pallbearers will be Hunter Lilly, Colton Dixon, Mike McClendon, Jamie Brooks, Bob Miles and Matthew Berry. Honorary pallbearers will be Albert Miles, Russell Miles and Wyatt Lilly. Memorials have been suggested to St. Stephens Cemetery or Holy Rosary School. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Garner Funeral Home & Chapel, Monroe City, Missouri.
