Ok Yon Yeater, lovingly known as Shima, passed away on June 10, 2025, in Reno, Nevada. She was 75.
 Shima was born on May 1, 1950, in Masan, South Korea. She married Clifford Yeater on Sept. 2, 1981, and together they made their home in Stagecoach, Nevada.
 She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and her son, Sam. She is survived by her husband, Clifford; her son, Tom; daughter-in-law, Joanne of Las Vegas; grandson, Justin of Phoenix, Arizona; and granddaughter, Ariel of Las Vegas. She is also sur­vived by two brothers and two sisters in Korea, as well as numerous family members in Missouri and Illinois.
 Shima will be remembered for her kindness and friendliness. She was a devoted wife who supported her husband when he postponed his retirement from the U.S. Marine Corps to lead his company during Operation Desert Storm. She was the perfect Marine wife.
