Carolyn Sue Farmer 81 of Quincy, Illinois (formerly of rural Palmyra, Missouri) passed away Thursday, June 05,2025 at the Sunset Home, Quincy, Illinois.
 She was born March 13,1944 in St. Louis, Missouri the daughter of Walter and Clara (Hemplemann) Kaltwasser.
 She was a member of the Mt. Vernon Church in Marion County, Missouri. She was a graduate of Kirkwood High School, Kirkwood, Missouri. She then graduated from Culver Stockton College, Canton, Missouri. She was a physical education teacher for Quincy Public Schools, Quincy, Illinois for many years. Carolyn loved the outdoors. She enjoyed hunt­ing, fishing and traveling in her free time. Most of all she enjoyed being visiting with her family and friends.
 She Married Johnny Farmer June 26,1970, he preceded her in death December 14,2001.
 Survivors include one daughter Kimberly Sue Mann (James) of Palmyra, Missouri. Two grandchildren Luke and Abbey Mann. Two sisters Joyce Lewis (Robert) of Kirkwood, Missouri and Marilyn Warner of Seattle, Washington.
 She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
