The sixth annual Taste of Fall hosted by the Monroe City Chamber of Commerce was held on September 8. Despite the rain forecast the festivities were still enjoyed by several at the Lion’s Club Barn. The event held tasting of food, wine and beverages throughout the evening. Upon arrival, Prosecuting Attorney Talley Kendrick, greeted guests to collect the cover charge and hand out the complimentary wine glasses to each attending. Many were seen visiting and laughing, as they stood under a canopy of lights waiting for the annual grape stomping contest to begin.
