Jason Yancey and his daughter Victoria, of Perry, have just completed their bluegrass album, Love in Greenlawn. Jason stated, “Putting together an album is something I always wanted to do,” as he explained he has been playing guitar as long as he can remember. Victoria, now 14 years old, grew up in music singing and playing several different instruments including the fiddle on this album. Jason shared, “God puts everything together,” referring to his daughter’s talents on the timing of the album, stating, “I guess I was supposed to wait for an album to have with my daughter.” Jason wrote two of the songs titled Ride the Five and Love in Greenlawn which are featured on the album.
Jason explained the album was recorded in Nashville, TN by Digital Underground Studios.
