While flipping through the stations on the FM radio area listeners will find a new station on channel 107.5. On July 1, a brand-new radio station aired called 107.5 The Lake.
The station will be playing traditional country from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s and along with a mix today’s hits. General Manager, John Scheper stated, “This station plays the songs representing what country music is all about, everyday life.” Scheper explained he saw an opportunity and since launching the idea it has taken off to a great start. He shared the station will embrace the geographical area of the Mark Twain Lake adding, “When you hit a ball the goal is to hit where no one else is at, this station is doing what others aren’t with country music.”
