Judge Michael Wilson performs with the Monroe City Singers during annual Christmas program.

The Monroe City Singers held their annual Christmas Concert on November 29 and December 2. The popular event was held in the Monroe City Middle School Auditorium for the first time this year due to the increased attendance.
The concert opened with the Jazz Ensemble playing “Baby, It’s Cold Outside”, followed by “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” with Aaron Robertson sharing his trumpet skills by performing a solo during the song.
As the audience applauded, the rest of the choir took their places on stage. Director Todd Richman, addressed the audience welcoming everyone and introduced the percussionist as Guy Callison and piano accompanist Marsha Crowley, along with Colby Schulz.
The choir sang 12 songs ranging in performances of acapella, instrumental and contemporary spiritual.
