The Monroe City High School held its one hundred twenty seventh annual commencement ceremony on Sunday, May 20 in the High School Gymnasium. The program began promptly at 2 p.m.
The 61 seniors entered the gymnasium during the processional on both the north and south side doors, one student at a time, meeting in the middle isle as they took to the high school stage one last time as the Class of 2018. The Monroe City High School Band played the traditional Pomp and Circumstance as they entered being led by students from the junior class into the gym dressed in mauve gowns.
