The Monroe City Players will present Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Oklahoma on stage in the Monroe City Middle School Auditorium. The scheduled show times are Friday, November 10 at 7 p.m., Saturday November 11 at 8 p.m. and Sunday November 12 at 2 p.m.
Ticket prices for adults can be purchased in advance for $6 per person, $8 at the door and $2 for students.
The play will take place during 1906 in Oklahoma. As the story unfolds there will be cowboys and farmers struggling to live amongst one another in a mix of comedy and tension. The public is invited to come watch as the story is acted out in a tangle amidst the craziness and romanticism.
