More than 60 members of the community attended the Macon-Atlanta Community Luncheon held at the KC Hall Aug. 13.
“We wanted to do a welcoming and let people know we are for the community,” Sheila Kendrick, Assistant Vice President, said.
This is the first event like this Macon-Atlanta State Bank has held and gave the community an opportunity to visit with friends and get to know the members of Macon-Atlanta’s Monroe City branch in a relaxed atmosphere.
Kelly Ray, owner of Buckhorn BBQ, prepared pork loin, baked beans and coleslaw. “It takes about three hours to cook the pork loin we had. I came down to the KC Hall at 7 a.m. and started cooking,” Ray said.
