Monroe City Senior, Skyler Kauble, gathered together with her parents, Chris and Mindy Kauble, along with grandparents, family and friends on August 22 to further her love of the softball game. Kauble signed a letter of intent to play softball for Columbia College in the Monroe City High School lobby. Kauble signed with intentions to attend Columbia College in the fall of 2019 and play for the Columbia Cougars Softball team. As she signed, her parents sat beside her beaming with smiles. Kauble’s high school softball Coach Melissa Chinn stood behind joined by the softball coaching staff of Columbia College, Wendy Spratt and Debbie Jameson, along with Kauble’s traveling Coach Tom Pfifer of the Missouri Fury team. Kauble’s parents then signed the letter of intent as well.
After the signing of signatures, Columbia Head Coach Spratt, stated, “We are excited to have Skyler. Columbia College reached out to her a few years ago and have been following her since. We expect great things from Skyler,” adding, “I hope you have a great senior year and we look forward to having you next year.”
