Catholic Schools Week (CSW) will be celebrated across the nation on January 28 through February 3. CSW is the forty-fourth annual celebration of Catholic education in the United States. The nationwide theme this year is Catholic Schools: Learn. Serve. Lead. Succeed. The Holy Rosary School will celebrate CSW with several different festivities.
Each day begins in the gym with a prayer assembly at 8:15 a.m. The school will also be holding an open house, on Thursday, February 1, inviting the public to attend. Visitors are welcome to visit classrooms from 9:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. and have lunch in the cafeteria with the students starting at 11:20 a.m. There also will be a soup supper and open house the same evening from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. There will be learning projects and “works of art” in the classrooms and hallways.
The daily prayer service will be led by students in various grades and a particular theme is followed each day.
