The Apron Cafe, located at 204 South Main Street recently changed ownership gaining a new menu with the same great atmosphere.
Debbie Hall, of Perry, has been in the restaurant business for several years before making the decision to have a restaurant here in Monroe City. Hall stated she had been having lunch at the cafe with friends when she was offered to open the restaurant as her own. Hall added, “I had planned on going back into doing concessions style food service before this opportunity came along,”
The Apron Café opened under the care of Hall on September 1 with a new menu offering sandwiches, wraps and panini’s along with several sides to choose from. Hall said, “I like to make people happy and food makes people happy.” She will also have a specialty coffee menu to include iced coffee, mocha’s, latte’s, cappuccino’s and espresso.
