The Monroe City Ag Education Program sponsored a garden open house on Sunday, June 25 from 6-8 p.m. at three local residences. Refreshments were served at each site for the tourist to enjoy. All the public was invited to travel from one site to another at their leisure. There was no order to tour the three-participating garden’s during the open house and residents could drive from house to house taking as much time as liked viewing the beautiful gardens to learn and see different garden techniques used by Jolynn and Steve Yates, Carol and Mark Hagan and Jeff and Liz Grove.
