On July 25 at approximately 6:30 p.m. the Marion County Sheriff’s department received a 911 call of a 7-year-old autistic boy who had wandered away from his home.
As the call went out, area residents came to help in efforts to locate the boy. Among those arriving was the boy’s teachers Megan Flamm, Kelsie Meeker and Michelle Ogle. The emergency personal responding to the 911 call were the Marion County Sheriff’s Department, Missouri Highway Patrol, Monroe City Fire Department, Monroe City Ambulance and Shelby County Fire Department.
