Caiden King gets his face painted by Hannah Davis at the Second Baptist Church Halloween Party.

The Business Trick or Treat was held on October 28 for the youth to visit local businesses to fill the youngsters treat bags prior to Halloween.
The event was sponsored by the Monroe City Chamber of Commerce.
Saturday morning downtown Monroe City was filled with parents walking their children door to door during the event. Spooky costumes of villains, zombies and bleeding creatures along with heroic ones dressed as police officers, firefighters, nurses and doctors could all be found about town. Other children came dressed as a princess, cheerleader or characters from their favorite movies.
The event saw children dressed as animals out to visit their favorite businesses and hunt the prey of their favorite candy.
